After the picker is lowered into the bay to bick a plate, it moves towards the
plate to sense the plate position with the picker microswitch. Then tilts the
cups away from plate and then it backs off (Y drive) away from the plate by
distance tissue_release_y before extending the wipers, this is so that slip
sheets don't get caught under the sucction cups.
